Delete your DaakMe account
You can delete your account yourself in the DaakMe app, at any time. It takes effect at once.

In the app
- Open DaakMe and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Follow the steps on screen to confirm it is you.
What is removed
Your profile, devices, SlamBook, stamps and milestones are removed at once.
What stays
Letters you already sent stay with the people who received them, and letters sent to you stay with the people who wrote them, no longer linked to you: a letter belongs to both people. Crash reports are kept by Sentry for 30 days; anonymous usage events are kept by PostHog for up to a year.
Drafts and the people and days you keep in the app live only on your phone. Deleting the app removes them.
Can't open the app?
Email support@daakme.com with the subject Delete my account, and tell us how you signed in (phone number, Apple or Google). We may ask you to confirm the account is yours before we delete it. The same address handles accounts from the old DaakMe website.
